You have spent several days learning about the continents and oceans and how we map them. You have zoomed in on your continent, North America, and the oceans and countries that it is made of.
Now, we are going to zoom in even further and learn about your country, the United States. We will look at each region or section. Regions are created by areas having similar climate and/or culture. Sometimes regions have been created by physical features ( parts of the land) that divide people, like mountains. Use the powerpoint linked below and follow these steps.
